Hello there! Welcome to my strange little site. There’s not a coherent theme for anything I write around here, and there probably never will be. It is a place for me to write whatever comes to mind and post whatever I think is of note. I initially made this site as a sort of training ground to help get myself more comfortable sharing my work. That doesn’t scare me so much anymore, but I still want to write.

Who am I?

You’ll probably know who I am better than I know myself if you read everything here. But, if I had to try to describe myself, I’d say that I’m a recently graduated disillusioned computer science student. I used to be a very high-strung person, but I’ve mellowed out over the past few months and try to not things too seriously. Change is weird, though, and I’m not really used to not being high-strung yet.

Other info about the site

This site is generated with Hugo. It’s pretty snazzy. Technically, its theme is an offshoot of the Archie theme, but I think you’ll agree that it’s basically unrecognizable by now. It’s a great base theme, though! I learned a lot with it! The theme colors are loosely based off of the HolyPaint default palette colors. The quotes up top are randomly generated each time you refresh, and if you go through the effort of finding the JavaScript file, it’ll tell you where the quote is from. I think that’s about it. It’s a pretty typical site, and it runs just fine on the cheapest VPS that Linode has.
